This is one of the most important self-development processes of our youth development programme. Through organizing different fund-raising events, Venturers have the opportunities to improve their self-confidence, communication skills, planning and time management abilities and explore their strengths and weaknesses. They can broaden their horizons and knowledge of different communities and environmental conservation projects conducted in Hong Kong and worldwide.

In the past 10 years, more than 10,000 people joined the fund-raising events organized by Raleigh Hong Kong as participants or volunteers. Thanks to the tremendous support of government departments, supporting organizations and voluntary groups, the fund-raising events were all completed with great success.

Objectives:

• To raise funds to support the local and overseas voluntary projects organized by Raleigh Hong Kong;
  
  
• To promote healthy lifestyle;
  
  
• To provide opportunities to the general public to share our Raleigh Experience through joining our events as participants or volunteers.
  

Hiking events:

• Raleigh Mountain Marathon (RMM) (since 2000):
  A two-day-one-night hiking event which is a test of participants' map reading skills, mountaineering skills, team spirit and endurance.
  
  
• Raleigh Challenge – Wilson Trail (RCWT) (since 2000):
  To complete the 78-km Wilson Trail in 32 hours.
