Venturers raise around HK$ 33,000 before going on their expedition. This is one of the most important self-development processes of the youth program. Venturers need to use their innovation and creativity to organize meaningful fund-raising events which not only help the Venturers to raise enough funds for their expeditions, but also help promote healthy lifestyle and bring “Raleigh Experience” to the public of Hong Kong. The annual fund-raising events of Raleigh Hong Kong initiated by Venturers: Raleigh Challenge – Wilson Trail and Raleigh International Mountain Marathon are good examples.

Through organizing different fund-raising event, Venturers have the opportunities to improve their self-confidence, communication skills, planning and time management abilities, and explore their own strength and weakness. They can broaden their horizons and knowledge of different community and environmental conservation projects conducted worldwide.
