The exciting sharing triggered Dr. Wong's curiosity about the works of Raleigh. He believed that the notion of Raleigh, ˇ§Get Out Thereˇ¨, was very unique and provided opportunities for the youth to explore the world and know more about themselves. This drives him to support Raleigh Hong Kong continuously since 2001.

Roots in Hong Kong , exploring China , and set one's sight to the world
Dr. Wong believed that Raleigh Hong Kong provides a great variety of exposure and opportunities to youngsters to achieve personal development. Raleigh Hong Kong not only organizes different charitable events for the public, but also engages the grassroots sector, such as organizing the City Chaser event for low-income families.
Raleigh Hong Kong also cares about mainland China. Venturers organized ˇ§China Projectˇ¨ to allow some youth to experience life in remote villages and to improve the living conditions of the local people. Furthermore, Raleigh Hong Kong sends venturers to expeditions in remote villages in developing countries such as India, Borneo (Malaysia), Costa Rica and Nicaragua, to work on community and environmental protection projects every year. There are not many non-profit organizations provide youth development programmes in Hong Kong, China and other parts of the world at the same time. Dr. Wong hoped that Raleigh spirit can be promoted to the world so that more people can be benefited.
Challenge the hurdles
In Hong Kong, there are many challenges and hurdles in youth development. Countless examinations make most youngsters feel pressurized. They usually neglect the importance of extra-curricular activities and miss the chance of enjoying group or outdoor activities, which result in workaholic life style for many young adults later on.
Dr. Wong hoped that there will be more public concern about the all-round development of youngsters so people can actively participate in extra-curricular activities to enrich lives. Raleigh provides the platform and opportunities for them to develop themselves in healthy ways.
